Information About Camps

CSDA offer College ID Camps throughout the year. Players can select and register for the camps using below links.

  • Players will work directly with college coaches for player development
  • Play in small-sided games and 11v11 games coached by college coaches
  • Goalkeeper specific training at every camp with college GK coaches

Curriculum

The College Soccer Development Academy will focus on developing the tools that are essential to perform technically and efficiently to achieve your highest tactical purpose consistently for performance.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

All technical aspects of the game with an emphasis on both feet with ball control, dribbling, individual moves, weight of pass, turning with ball, driving, bending, chipping, outside of the foot and heading.

TACTICAL

Principals of individual and group attacking and defending incorporating dynamics of play through numbers. 1v1, 2v2 and up to 11v11 drills including attacking, defending and ball movement. Understanding of the tactical skills for specific positions (i.e., creating space, timing of runs, shutting down an opponent and using angles)

PHYSICAL

Speed and agility training, building power, increasing endurance, anaerobic and aerobic capacity and injury prevention.

MENTAL
Dealing with psychological aspects of the competition, game preparation, emotional control, and handling adversity
